About Tautane Station

Tautane Station is one of the North Island's most iconic farms with a 120-year history. At 3,700 hectares, this is one of the few original stations of its size operating in Hawke's Bay, spanning 12km of rugged coastline between Dannevirke and Waipukurau. The Gunson family continues the tradition of quality livestock production on this coastal hill country property.

The lambs presented are the entire 2025 terminal lamb crop with no pre-sale selection.

All lambs are NZFAP, ABF & GAP Accredited.

• 800 AD Ewes

• 100 2-Year-Old Angus & Angus Hereford Steers (brought in)
• 50 2-Year-Old Angus & Angus Hereford Steers (Home bred, Hallmark bloodlines, Antibiotic free)
• 70 Yearling Angus Heifers (Home bred, Hallmark bloodlines, Antibiotic free)

Steers have been weighed at 500kg plus.

All cattle are TB Status C10
